Junior McLean Bennett, staff writer, returns to The Spectator for his fourth semester after taking off last spring to pursue other interests, including vacationing in the Caribbean and exploring the wreck of the Titanic in his small, home-made submarine (not yellow).

The 20-year-old print journalism major from Sheboygan County, Wis., returned to his job at The Spectator after suffering a severe leg injury last spring while snowboarding in the Alps with Bono and the rest of U2. He hopes to eventually make a full recovery and become a licensed sky-dive instructor in Australia or a suave British secret agent bent on combatting small-time arms dealers or terrorists in South America.
